This time of year, it’s natural for our thoughts to turn to summer activities and gatherings with friends and family as winter winds down. We’re grateful for the moisture and recognize its benefits for our rivers, parks, agriculture, wildlife, and forests. Yet, we can’t help but yearn for the warmth of summer sunshine and, perhaps, a good dose of mud for added excitement. Who doesn’t chuckle and cheer during the Hide Race on a particularly muddy night? We can’t wait to welcome you to the 19th season of the Carbondale Wild West Rodeo, where small-town charm meets big-time fun!
Last year, we saw record-breaking attendance at several of our events, thanks to our incredible fans and dedicated sponsors. Your steadfast support allows us to continue providing top-notch entertainment at the Carbondale Wild West Rodeo. As we navigate rising expenses, sponsorships are more critical than ever and we can’t thank our sponsors enough for their support! The deadline for sponsorships this year is May 10th.
Our volunteer board works tirelessly to secure sponsorships, without which the rodeo wouldn’t be possible. We’re thrilled to plan special acts and themed rodeos like Tough Enough to Wear Pink and Hawaiian Night, with exciting activities planned for the July 4th event. Each year, we see an increase in spectators and record turnouts, making the CWWR a highlight of small-town life.
We’ll update any main event sponsorships if they become available. Carbondale Wild West Rodeo Sponsorships are a great advertising opportunity reaching a large audience for 12 weeks in the summer and all passing traffic year-round.

On behalf of the Carbondale Wild West Rodeo Association, we would like to sincerely thank you for your interest in becoming a sponsor. Sponsors play a very important part in the success of our rodeo season, as most individual rodeos are a money-losing proposition. The funds from sponsors help to bridge that gap. Without sponsors, we do not have a rodeo.
In return for your support, we would like to let you know the value and benefit of being a sponsor of the rodeo. Sponsoring the Carbondale Wild West Rodeo is an effective and affordable to way to reach your customers in the Roaring Fork Valley and beyond. With a sponsorship you get weekly exposure during the Rodeo to an average attendance of 1,000 spectators who are residents and visitors of our valley. In addition, your signs will be viewed at multiple arena events throughout the year and by thousands of motorists who pass by on County Road 100.
Please see the attached sheet for the different levels of sponsorship. Not all of these levels may be available, as we offer our existing sponsors the right of first refusal. We have different sponsorship levels, like Premium, Chute and Return Gate, General, and Friends of the Rodeo. You can learn more about each level on our Sponsor Levels page or within our sponsorship packet. Keep in mind that not all Event Sponsorships may be available since existing sponsors have the first chance to renew.

The Carbondale Rodeo Committee is a not-for-profit, volunteer organization committed to keeping the Roaring Fork Valley’s western heritage alive by offering a fun family-oriented event for residents and visitors alike. The Carbondale Wild West Rodeo is held every Thursday from June until late August, rain or shine.
The 2024 rodeo season will begin on Thursday, June 6th, and continue through Thursday, August 22nd. Come down to the rodeo every Thursday evening for 12 weeks.

We are excited to continue the premium arena fence online parking reservation system for the 2024 season!
Arena fence parking tickets go on sale every Wednesday starting at noon through the rodeo season and typically sell out within minutes.
Remember, leaving your vehicles at the arena or on Willow Lane early is no longer allowed.
