Standings August 16, 2018 and Added Money at Finals Next Week

August 23, 2018 is Carbondale Wild West Rodeo Finals for 2018. It's been a great season and many of the events and the All Around are turning out to be nail biters. There are a couple events that the current leader cannot be dethroned. This is in the Bull Riding with Quinton Hayden leading the ranks, Ronnie Will has the Barrel Racing all sewn up, and Haley Mazurek is your buckle winner in the Junior Barrels. We will have both hide racing and ranch broncs at the final rodeo.

August 16, 2018 is Hawaiian Night at Carbondale Wild West Rodeo

Come join us for this week's rodeo with an island flair. Summer is coming to a close and the kids are going back to school. This is one of the favorite rodeos of the season for young and old alike.

It's been a long stressful summer with the drought and the fires. It can't hurt to wish for a little tropical climate and the moisture to go with it.

All Around Award Standings as of August 2, 2018

The Carbondale Wild West Rodeo Association be presenting an All Around Award to the cowboy or cowgirl with the highest accumulated earnings in 2 or more events. The recipient must have won money in two events and participated in 9 out of the 12 rodeos. If the event is a buckle event it counts as an individual event for the award. For example: Heading and heeling count as separate events as well as roping in the #8 and the #11. The recipient will receive a saddle and a buckle.

This award will be presented at the Finals Rodeo on August 23rd.
