Last Thursday night’s season opener was a testament to the power of rodeo culture and our community. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the arena came alive with the hum of anticipation as families gathered for the event.
A true highlight was when Berentis Rodeo’s bull, Invisible Ink exploded out of the chute on Thursday night and was captured perfectly by CWWRA official photographer, Paula Wood.
In the arena’s dusty playground, new friendships were forged, and little shrieks of summer joy echoed through the stands. For some, the ultimate summer thrill was riding a sheep or trying their hand at the calf scramble for the very first time. And as the night drew to a close, memories were surly created, a reminder of the joy and wonder of a summer evening spent at the Carbondale Wild West Rodeo.
