Kickoff your summer season with the Carbondale Wild West Rodeo
Join us Thursday June 7th for the first rodeo of the 12 week season. You won’t regret it. There will be plenty of thrills and spills, activities for the kids, time with family, meeting new folks and enjoying the beautiful setting of the Gus Darien Arena. You can bring your own picnic or take a night off and enjoy barbecue from Slow Groovin’; nachos and snocones from Senior Matters, and popcorn from the Boy Scouts and local 4-H.
Gates open at 5:30pm, Slack is at 6:00pm (For those who don’t know — slack is where the overload of team ropers and barrel racers compete as we only have time for so many in the performance. The slack participants are competing against the contestants in the main event.), Grand Entry at 7:30pm Sharp
