Don’t Miss out of the First Rodeo of the Season – June 2nd

Carbondale Wild West Rodeo is pleased to welcome you back this Thursday June 2nd for 12 weeks of thrills and spills. We’re looking forward to seeing all of our contestants, fans and volunteers come together for Our — Small Town Rodeo, Big Time Fun. There are so many moving parts that bring a rodeo together and we’re thankful for all who make the rodeo possible.

None of the heartwarming moments and explosive action would be possible without the many moving parts — Sponsors to help us defray expenses; fans in the seats to cheer on our contestants; contestants to thrill and amaze us with their bravery, skills and competitive spirit; amazing animal athletes both of the contestants and stock contractors to wow us; our stock contractors, rodeo judges, timers, pickup men, rodeo secretary, announcer, and volunteers to keep things running smooth.

It would be a disservice to not mention the CWWRA board who are the glue holding this together. We are also thankful for the Town of Carbondale and the staff that provide and keep the facilities maintained. If you get a chance give a shout out to the above folks and tell them how much you appreciate the rodeo. We sure wouldn’t be celebrating our 17th season without all of you great folks coming together for 12 weeks each summer to celebrate the western way of life.

Come on out this Thursday. Gates open at 5:30 and slack will be going. Performance starts at 7:00. You won’t be disappointed. Bring your picnic or grab some great grub and snacks on-site and settle in for 12 weeks of fun in the sun, rain, and mud. We won’t let the weather slow us down from enjoying your down home Carbondale Wild West Rodeo.
