July 1st at CWWR, Jumpstart Your Independence Day Festivities

Join us July 1st for a star spangled celebration. The Carbondale Wild West Rodeo way of kicking off the 4th of July, Independence Day festivities.

Come early and you’ll receive one of the miniature flags and pinwheels to show your pride in the Good Old U. S. of A. Joe Carr, funny man/rodeo clown will be joining us. Young and old will be sure to enjoy Joe’s rodeo antics and will gasp and cheer as bulls ram the barrel he takes shelter in during the bull riding. Joe has been entertaining rodeo fans in the west for going on 20 years.

Ranch Bronc Riding will be held to raise the thrill and spill level of your favorite rodeo performance; the Carbondale Wild West Rodeo.

Bring your own food or buy from our vendors. The rainbow snocones from Senior Matters, popcorn from the Black Sheep 4-H Club and Roaring Fork High School Volleyball, and the kicked up bbq of Slow Groovin plus the addition of Detroit style pizza from their sister restaurant Propaganda Pie, will be sure to add a sparkle to your 4th.

Carbondale Wild West Rodeo is the hot spot to jump start your Independence Day celebrations.

Welcome to the Rodeo
The Carbondale Rodeo Committee is a not for-profit, volunteer organization committed to keeping the Roaring Fork Valley’s western heritage alive by offering a fun family-oriented event for residents and visitors alike. The Carbondale Wild West Rodeo is held every Thursday from June until late August, rain or shine.
2023 Rodeo Season

The 2023 rodeo season will begin on Thursday, June 1st and continue through Thursday, August 17th. Come down to the rodeo every Thursday evening for 12 weeks with slack at 6:00 p.m. and the main performance at 7:30 p.m.
