Matt Nieslanik, Carbondale Wild West Rodeo Pickup Man — Best Wishes for a Speedy Recovery

The Carbondale Wild West Rodeo Association Board, Volunteers, Contestants and Fans are wishing Matt Nieslanik a speedy recovery.

Matt injured his leg on July 16 at the CWWR, when his pickup horse slipped in the alleyway when he was escorting a ranch bronc out of the arena. Matt is a local cowboy and rancher, team roper and all-around tough guy who has been involved in the Carbondale Wild West Rodeo and Snowmass Rodeo for many years. Matt suffered a broken fibia and torn ligaments and had surgery this past week to place a screw in his leg. He will be in a boot for at least a couple of months. We thank Matt for his dedication to the Carbondale Wild West Rodeo and his many years of service. We look forward to when you can return. Heal quickly but don’t overdo it!
