Accepting Nominations for the Trent Goscha Sportsmanship Award
Volunteers and Contestants of the Carbondale Wild West Rodeo and the Carbondale gymkhana are eligible. If you know of someone who puts in the extra effort at the rodeo and/or gymkhana and is always supporting others in our rodeo or gymkhana family nominate them for this new award in memory of Trent Goscha. Trent loved the rodeo and admired all the competitors and volunteers who made it possible. He was always hanging around offering a helping hand and cheering folks on with his infectious smile. Just submit a written nomination to one of your CWWRA board members by note or email by August 15th and the winner will be announced at the rodeo finals on August 17th. The winner will receive a 2017 CWWR buckle. You can email [email protected], [email protected], or [email protected]. You can drop off nominations at the secretary’s shed this Thursday at rodeo or catch Melanie as well. She or one of the board members can be found driving the golf cart.
