As always there are great activities for kids. Along with a chance to participate in Mutton Bustin’ and Calf Scramble, there will be opportunities for kids to take a horseback ride and learn about taking care of a horse on Aug. 6th. For Calf Scramble — Children must be 3-10 years old. No parents will be allowed to enter the arena. Sign-up will start at 5:30pm and end at 8:00pm at the rodeo secretary shed/registration booth. The parents of children that are signing up must be present when registering. All parents must sign the Entry Application and Release Form along with the Consent of Parent or Legal Guardian. Only children that have been given a wristband at the registration booth will be allowed to enter the arena.

There will be music for the whole family to enjoy on August 6th too!! On August 13th the whole family can join in on the fun of our annual Hawaiian Night Rodeo. You will see cowboys, cowgirls, horses and rodeo stock bedecked in Hawaiian print shirts, leis and grass skirts too!! There have even been a few cowboys in coconut bikini tops. You won’t want to miss this! Rodeo season ends on Aug. 20th with the finals rodeo.
