Update June 10, 2019 Alpine Equine Hospital Still Seeking Volunteers for Time to Ride

Update — Crystal River Ranch, Martin Ranch and Skyline Ranch have been generous enough to offer horses for the kids to ride during Time to Ride this season. Alpine Equine Hospital is still seeking volunteers.

Thanks to the named ranches generosity there will be gentle horses for kids horseback time for Time to Ride at the Carbondale Wild West Rodeo on July 11th, 18th, 25th and August 1st.

Volunteers are still needed who can help with the kids horseback activities on these nights. They also welcome those who would like to help with monetary donations for the program.

Each night of Time to Ride requires between 4 to 5 volunteers to help youngsters be able to enjoy a horseback ride arena side in a safe penned environment. You can contact Chuck Maker, DVM Alpine Equine Hospital at 970-379-7100 or email at [email protected]

A big thanks to Dr. Maker and Alpine Equine Hospital for providing this fun activity for youngsters at the Carbondale Wild West Rodeo.
