July 20th, 2023 Carbondale Wild West Rodeo will honor all those who have been impacted by cancer in our community with the Tough Enough to Wear Pink rodeo and we need your help.
On July 20th, let’s turn the Gus Darien Arena into a sea of PINK! Are you tough enough??? Contestants, fans, and volunteers–we’re calling on all of you to step up and wear that vibrant hue!! So grab that pink shirt, pink bandana, or even a pink ribbon tied around your hat and show everyone that you’re tough enough to wear PINK in support of a cause that hits too close to home for so many.
This isn’t just any ol’ rodeo! We’re saddling up to raise awareness and show our support for those in our community fighting the toughest battle of their lives– breast cancer. A portion of the proceeds will benefit patients at Valley View Hospital’s Callaway-Young Cancer Center.
Tough Enough to Wear Pink rodeo isn’t just about the thrills and spills. It’s about honoring the brave souls who have and are currently facing the fight against cancer. This rodeo is about raising awareness, supporting research and letting the survivors in our community know that they are not alone in this battle. We hope you’ll join us!
