July 6th Rodeo and Upcoming Specialty Acts

Join us at our July 6th Carbondale Wild West Rodeo for a Patriotic Celebration

We will have flags to wave and be treated to Josh Rogan entertaining us with his brand of singing and guitar playing that has been described as “dark bluesy rock might just as easily have hopped from the same rail that carried Elvis into Memphis, or drifted ashore in the same Baha tide that produced Chris Isaak.” Josh has been a most welcome fixture of the CWWR the last few seasons. You don’t want to miss Josh singing the National Anthem and more.

Also, be sure and attend the July 13th rodeo where we will have the dual entertainment of Whiplash the Cowboy Monkey and Joe Carr, funny man/rodeo clown.

July 13 — Whiplash The Cowboy Monkey will be entertaining fans at the CWWR.

Whiplash is truly a fan favorite. He is the world’s smallest cowboy, 3-Time Pro Rodeo Entertainer of the Year, and an international star who has been putting smiles on faces for years. Whiplash is a Capuchin Monkey who has been riding since he was two years old. He travels the country herding wild Barbados sheep at rodeos and other events. Whiplash, dressed in his cowboy hat, silk scarf, chaps and Justin Boots, never misses a chance to show his skills and cowboy spirit as he rides his trusty Border Collie mount, Boogie. Learn more at www.whiplashthecowboymonkey.com and https://www.facebook.com/whiplash.cowboymonkey/ We will have double the fun with Whiplash and Joe Carr, funny man/rodeo clown.

July 13 and August 10 — funny man/rodeo clown, Joe Carr

Young and old will be sure to enjoy Joe’s rodeo antics and will gasp and cheer as bulls ram the barrel he takes shelter in during the bull riding. Joe has been entertaining rodeo fans in the west for fourteen plus years.
